2017 NISSAN PICKUP TRUCK REVIEW
The brand new 2017 Nissan Frontier offers a number of upgrades and technological advancement that is in sync with modern times. Some of the new features in the new model include a more robust V6 engine, updated interior controls and better driving experience.
Interiors
The new Frontier comes with a number of soft-touch materials, updated technologies and a highly sophisticated design that is in tune with modern times. Anyone who is upgrading to the 2017 model will definitely notice the hard-to-ignore differences between this model and the previous one. For example, quality of the interior materials was lackluster in nature and the noise level in the cabin was also very high. But now these are things of the past. The 2017 Nissan Frontier is expected to have standard cloth upholstery, a rear privacy glass, audio controls on steering wheel, automatic climate control, CD player, audio connectivity et al.
Customers would be given the option to opt for a luxury package that would include a rear seat center armrest, a sunroof, roof rack, power-adjustable front seats, heated exterior mirrors & leather upholstery.
The 2017 Nissan Frontier would be available in a wide range of colors such as Cayenne Red, Brilliant Silver & Magnetic Black. There are strong rumors that the car would be available in more color options but there are no concrete information regarding this till now.
Engines
Two engine options are offered under the hood of 2017 Nissan Frontier. The base engine is a 2.5l four cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The total generated power – 152 hp – is sent to all wheels. Another option is the 4.0l V6 engine that produces 261 hp of torque which gives you the freedom to reach 60 mph in just 8.2 seconds.
Release Date
According to a wide range of sources, the 2017 Nissan Frontier release date is expected to be around July 2017 at least for the markets in Canada but the release date can be further off for the markets in other countries. The cheapest model would come around USD 18290 and the other variant is expected to cost around USD 25000.
Competitors
Just for information, the closet car models to the Frontier would be 2017 GMC Canyon and/or the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado. There is also a better option in the form of 2017 Toyota Tacoma but there is no denying the fact that the 2017 Nissan Frontier is one of the better cars to hit the road next year. At the end of the day, one needs to weigh all the priorities carefully and then select the car model.
